DreamMail

The world of email clients is ruled by Microsoft Outlook, which is the most popular application for reading and writing emails. But despite its popularity, Outlook is not the best, having some downsides. It's a bit difficult to use, it requires a lot of system resources and it's also expensive, as it's part of the Microsoft Office package and cannot be bought separately.

Fortunately, there is a reliable alternative to Outlook and that's the DreamMail application. This email client has almost all the features offered by Outlook, in a lighter package. After installing the program, the user will first need to configure his email account. As such, one will just need to enter his email address and password and DreamMail will try to automatically discover the mailbox settings, like the POP and SMTP servers.

After configuring the mailbox settings, the user will be taken to the actual interface of DreamMail, in which he will be able to send and receive messages. The interface has a pleasant graphical aspect and it's practical to use. One will just need to click on the Send and Receive buttons and the program will start downloading messages from the mailbox.

After downloading the messages, the user will be able to preview them in the lower part of the interface. What's more, he will be able to quickly respond to any message by using the top graphical toolbar. When sending messages, one can use the address book and add any desired recipient using a single mouse click. Address books can be also imported from other similar applications, like Outlook or Thunderbird.

The program's interface supports various themes and skins and more can be downloaded from the producer's website. What's more, a feature which makes DreamMail unique is the possibility of compressing and repairing the program's database, for lowering the loading times for messages and for reducing the space occupied by the database file.
